The design studio, situated in Frome and supported by the Makers Yard community, is dedicated to a forward-thinking approach to architecture. They prioritise low-carbon and ethical practices, aiming for a contemporary aesthetic informed by the regional vernacular. The small team places a strong emphasis on crafting spaces with a specific atmosphere that adds value to the health and wellbeing of its occupants. They aspire to challenge the conventional methods prevalent in the oil-driven construction industry by advocating for bio-based construction, localised production and designs that address long-term environmental impact. This shift is seen as imperative to mitigate the impending climate crisis.
